Description
The crystalline cross is a weapon for Yuffie in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It starts with six materia slots, and teaches Yuffie the Banishment ability, a magic attack based on the ATB charges Yuffie has consumed in battle and her current elemental affinity.
Crystalline cross's attributes specialize Yuffie toward physical damage. Its weapon skills are varied.

Crystalline cross is found in a treasure chest near the grey stairs in the northeast maintenance area of Park - 1F level of the Gold Saucer. This is accessible only during chapter 12, "A Golden Key", as the area is normally roped off.

The crystalline cross specializes Yuffie in physical damage, with the highest boost to Attack Power of her weapons, but the lowest Magic Attack. Yuffie has numerous physical-based weapon abilities, including Windstorm, Shooting Star, and Art of War, and her Doppelgänger ability allows her to use these attacks twice.
Yuffie's attributes are balanced, meaning crystalline cross heavily moves her toward a physical role. However, Doppelgänger and some of her magic-based weapon abilities, such as Banishment that the crystalline cross teaches her, can also make her a potent magic user, which crystalline cross would sacrifice. 
Twin Viper provides less of a boost to attack power but is more balanced, having a bigger magic power boost, meaning it may be preferred if players do not wish to miss out on as much of this potential but want physical damage.
The reverse of crystalline cross is the Crescent Sickle. For more balanced weapons, the 4-Point Shuriken and Fuma Shuriken have entirely balanced attributes.
