Allusion[]

The Japanese name of Fran's Shatterheart Quickening ((咬撃氷狼波, Kōgeki Hyōrōha?, lit. Biting Ice Wolf Wave) in Final Fantasy XII is a reference to the Crush Accessory (咬撃氷狼破, Kōgeki Hyōrōha?, lit. Biting Ice Wolf Break) ability from Final Fantasy Tactics. The final kanji for both looks similar, and they are pronounced the same.
