Crush (おしつぶす or おしつぶす or 押しつぶす, Oshitsubusu or Oshitsubisu?), also known as Flatten and Smash, is a recurring enemy ability in Final Fantasy series. It is often a powerful physical attack.

Crush is an enemy ability used solely by Landcrawler. It inflicts major non-elemental damage to one party member as well as inflicting Confuse.
Final Fantasy VI[]
Crush is an enemy ability used by both Io and Slagworm. It inflicts major non-elemental damage to one party member.
Final Fantasy IX[]
Smash is an enemy ability used by Shell Dragon, which reduces one target's HP to 1.
Final Fantasy XII[]
Flatten is an enemy ability used by Silicon Tortoise, Shadonir, Adamantitan, Emeralditan, Leynir, Darksteel, Gil Snapper, Antlion, Pandaemonium, Aspidochelon, Gavial, Nazarnir, and Victanir. It inflicts non-elemental physical damage to one target within attack range with a base potency of 100 and knockback of 50.
