Mechanics[]
Cross Blitz casts the Ruin spell on a single target, dealing magic non-elemental damage. After performing the action four times in quick succession, Lightning will unleash a strong physical attack as a finisher. It has an ATB cost of 10 for each attack and can be used when airborne.

Blitz is a German word for "lightning". In German and English it is associated with quickness. In the Lightning Saga, Blitz is a recurring physical Commando ability against multiple targets. "Cross Blitz" refers to it being mixed magical and physical ability.
