Island of Mirages, Crescent Isle (蜃気楼の島 クレセントアイル, Shinkirō no Shima Kuresento Airu?), or Occult Crescent,[note 1] is an upcoming 
Field operation set to be introduced with the Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail 7.x patches. It is said to take place in the Shades' Triangle, to the east of Tural. Like other field operations, this content will see players in large instanced areas where interaction between large amounts of players will be possible.

- ↑ During the keynote speech at the Guangzhou Fan Festival 2024, the Japanese language title title for the field operation was spoken, while the Chinese title was given as 蜃景幻界 新月島 (Shèn jǐng huàn jiè xīn yuèdǎo, lit. "Mirage Crescent Island") on-screen, subtitled as "Occult Crescent" in English.[1] Later, during the keynote speech at the Seoul Fan Festival 2024, the Japanese title was once again spoke, while the title was rendered simply as 초승달 섬 (Choseungdal seom, lit "Crescent Island") on-screen.[2] An official English title has not been revealed.
