The Crazy Horse, also known as MADPONY, is an enemy in the original Final Fantasy. They are wild horses that roam the plains around Cornelia and Pravoka and travel in packs of two to four and attack by ramming with their alicorns. They can be dangerous if enough of them attack a low-level party early in the game, considering that they appear commonly after Garland is defeated.

In the original NES release, the Crazy Horse was named MadPony. This name was probably chosen due to space restrictions. It may have also been altered so as to make an allusion to the famous Native American warrior Crazy Horse, or Neil Young's band of the same name.
