The Cray Claw (クレイクロウ, Kureikurō?), also known as the Clay Claw, is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in Final Fantasy V. It is typically a stronger variant of the Karlabos.

The Cray Claw, also known as the Clay Claw, appears as a boss encountered aboard the airship. It is found to be clinging to the underside of the airship immediately after leaving the Catapult, and threatens to drag the airship back down before it is defeated. It drops the Frost Bow upon defeat; the Coral Sword can also be stolen from it.
Final Fantasy XIV[]
The Cray Claw appears as an enemy encountered in
Alexander - The Arm of the Father. It does not appear in the Savage version of the duty.
Final Fantasy XVI[]
Cray Claws are a family of enemies encountered throughout Rosaria and Sanbreque. The common Cray Claw can be found in the Coeurltail Falls, Cressida, and Whispering Waters regions of Rosaria, and can also be encountered during the Building Bridges and Getting to Work quests.
Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin[]
The Cray Claw appears as a boss encountered in the Ruins of Machina, a dungeon based on the Ronka Ruins and Catapult from Final Fantasy V. Unlike other appearances, this Cray Claw is a mechanical scorpion.
