Crane is a boss from Final Fantasy X. It is a part of the Oblitzerator battle, and though it does not have turns during the battle, it is a targetable enemy.

The crane can only be targeted with tier one Black Magic spells (as well as Lulu's respective Fury spells), thus it cannot be damaged under normal circumstances due to its elemental resistances. If defeated through cheating its death animation is seen, which is both the unsent/machine death animation (fading without pyreflies) and the killing alive enemy death animation (pyreflies come out of it), displaying simultaneously.
Casting Thunder on the crane three times or Thunder Fury will allow Tidus to activate it with the "Use crane" Trigger Command. This will reduce the Oblitzerator's HP by 15/16, disable its counterattacks, and prevent it from using Blitzball Rush.
