The Covert, also known as the Invisible, is an enemy in Final Fantasy V. It can only be found in the Island Shrine and is fought only once. It is a monster-in-a-box, and opening the chest will either spawn it or a Pantera. Boss music will play during the battle. It does not appear in the in-game bestiary.
In addition to the standard attack, Covert has two party-targeting attacks: Blaze, which is a fire-elemental attack, and Wind Slash, which is a wind-elemental attack.
