DFFOO Skin Change — Preview of Yuna's Gunner costume.

Costumes, also known as Skin Change (スキンチェンジ, Sukin Chenji?) or simply Skin (スキン, Sukin?), is an alternate outfit feature in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia.

Costumes[]

Introduced alongside Taking the Gods' Stage, costumes do little more than change the target unit's appearance and his/her avatar. As debuted, each costume is part of a loot crate that packages it with 9,000 Gems, nearly enough for two 10+1 gacha pulls.

The game also offers Character Skin Token. Introduced in sixth anniversary of the Japanese version, it is also part of limited time loot crate that packages it with two skin tokens and 6,000 Gems, allowing the player to obtain two costumes with the same price as one.

Weapon Glosses[]

Main article: Weapon gloss

As players acquire various weapons for their units, players can select also how they wish a unit's weapon to appear in battle. These Weapon Glosses may be chosen from among all weapons of the type that a unit can equip. Initially, any weapon from the default up to 3★ rank can be used as a Weapon Gloss. Weapons of 4★ or higher rank may also be used, but the unit must have successfully mastered the weapon for it to appear as a Gloss.

Application[]

Costumes and Weapon Glosses can be changed by tapping the Appearance button within a unit's equip screen.
