Confusion (Final Fantasy X)

Confusion is a status in Final Fantasy X that can only be inflicted with enemy abilities. When a character is confused, the player will lose control of them and they will attack allies at random. No skills or items will be used, only a physical attack. Confused units have two spinning stars over their head. As with Berserk, it is still listed under "Immunities" when scanning. Bad Breath may cause Confusion when used by enemies, but the Ronso Rage version used by Kimahri cannot do so.

Abilities[]

The player does not have access to abilities that inflict Confusion. However, when battling Master Coeurl, or Guado Guardian in Home, the player can use Reflect on a party member (must be Lulu in Home), so Confuse will bounce to an enemy. Guado Guardian, Chimera, Ultima Weapon and Omega Weapon are immune.
