A three-hit punch combo that knocks the enemy back. Can combo without hitting. Follow-up generates 10% more EX Force.

Combo (コンボ, Konbo?) is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is often a series of physical attacks chained one after another in quick succession, dealing varying damage.

Appearances[]

Final Fantasy VII[]

Combo is an enemy ability used by Lifeform-Hojo N, which inflicts four non-elemental physical hits on one target. On the second hit, the attack can inflict Poison, while on the third it can inflict Blind, and on the fourth hit Sleep. If the target dies midway through the attack, the attack will stop.

Final Fantasy XI[]

Combo is a hand-to-hand skill weapon skill that delivers a threefold attack. Damage varies with TP. It provides modifiers of STR: 30% and DEX: 30%. It can skillchain into Impaction. It requires a combat skill of 5 to use.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[]

Two versions of Combo exists for Prishe, both learned by default. The base Bravery attack is a ground Melee Low physical attack that induces Chase, requires 20 CP to equip (10 when mastered), 150 AP to master, hits three times and can combo even without hitting, and generates 10% more EX Force with its follow-up attack. The follow-up version is the same, but requires only 10 CP to equip (5 when mastered). If Combo is the first attack and is followed by Spinning Attack, Prishe will be able to use Liqefaction. If Combo is the first attack and is followed by Backhand Blow, Prishe will be able to use Detonation. If Combo is used as a follow-up to Shoulder Tackle, Prishe will be able to use Impaction. If Combo is used as a follow-up to Spinning Attack, Prishe will be able to use Fusion.
