Cloying Breath (あまい息, Amai Iki?, lit. Sweet Breath) is a recurring enemy ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is a weaker version of the Bad Breath ability, inflicting only Sleep and Slow to party members, and is primarily used by the Malboro family of enemies, but not limited to them.

Sweet Breath is an enemy ability used by monsters of the Morbol family. It inflicts breath-type damage plus Sleep status to players within a cone.
Final Fantasy XII[]
Cloying Breath is an enemy ability used by Malboro Overking, Zombie Mage, Malboro, Great Malboro, Malboro King, Zombie Knight, Vivian, Cassie, Shambling Corpse, Zombie Warlock, Wild Malboro, Kris, and Zombie Lord. It inflicts Sleep and Slow at a 40% accuracy to all party members within a range of 3 and an area of Cone 3 (80°).
