Description
Limit is the skillset of the Soldier job, exclusive to the secret character Cloud. They are based on his Limit commands from Final Fantasy VII, with the addition of a new ultimate ability, called Cherry Blossom.
Cloud must be equipped with the Materia Blade to use Limit abilities. Materia Blade is discovered on the summit of Mount Bervenia with Treasure Hunter.

The damage formula for Limit is as follows:
Cloud is thus good training in magickal jobs outside of being a Soldier to make use of his skills. However, the higher tier Limit abilities have such long Charge Times that using them in a normal playthrough can be nigh impossible.

Etymology[]
The skillset is named after "Limit Break", the term used for character-specific special abilities in Final Fantasy VII, which has since become a recurring term in the Final Fantasy series.
