The Claret Dragon is an enemy in Final Fantasy V Advance and the now discontinued 2013 versions of Final Fantasy V. They have several nasty attacks at their disposal: Tail Screw will reduce a party member's HP to a single digit, while Breath Wing causes damage as a percentage of maximum HP regardless of current HP. Upon death, Claret Dragons cast Flare, but damage can be avoided by using Reflect or the first turn of the Quick spell. Claret Dragon is susceptible to Level 4 Graviga and Level 2 Old.
Should the enemy be slain by a Necromancer, the party member in question will attain the Dark Arts skill, Meltdown.
