The Circuitron is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII. It deals Lightning damage and can easily KO opponents with its Self-Destruct ability.

Battle[]
Circuitron starts the battle with half of its maximum HP. It deals Lightning-elemental damage with its Self-destruct attack, which can devastate any party members it hits.
Circuitrons are dangerous when fought in groups of three of more, as its Lightning attack also heals itself and nearby Circuitrons, allowing them to use Self-destruct with full HP.
Strategy[]
Taking an offensive paradigm right away can reduce the damage they do with Self-destruct, and with their relatively low HP, defeating them quickly is best if possible. The party should also be able to equip at least some Lightning resistance, as the player will have had the opportunity to gain all 4 Spark Rings in the game by this point.
