Cinquedea (チンクエディア, Chinkuedia?) is a recurring weapon in the series. It is generally a powerful knife or dagger with high attack power, in addition to increasing Evasion and Speed.

Final Fantasy XI Edit

Cinquedea is a dagger that provides 25 damage, 156 delay, and has a latent Store TP +5 effect. Its latent effect is triggered when TP is greater than 100%. It deals 9.62 damage per second and accumulates 48 TP per hit. It can be equipped by level 71 Dancer. It is dropped by Aynu-kaysey.

Cinquedea is the second-strongest knife, bested only by the Orichalcum. It provides 57 attack, 5 speed, and 2 evade, and teaches Steal: Ability to Thieves for 300 AP. It is a reward for reaching clan negotiate skill lv 30, or it can be stolen from enemy thieves who have it.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift Edit

Cinquedea is a high-ranked knife that provides 42 attack, 4 evasion, and 5 speed, as well as teach Loot Lv.4 to Thieves for 400 AP and Ring Toss to Jugglers for 450 AP. It can be obtained as the grand prize from the Auction or from the Smallswords C category from the Bazaar for Damascus, Spiral Incisor and Kalos.

Etymology Edit

The cinquedea is a civilian short sword (or long dagger). It was developed in northern Italy and enjoyed a period of popularity during the Italian renaissance of the 15th and early 16th centuries.
