FFVI Chocobo Stable 0 — The chocobo stable in South Figaro.

(Chocobo Stable, チョコボ屋?, lit. Chokobo Ya) is an location in Final Fantasy VI. Chocobo stables are places where the player can rent a chocobo for a small fee. A chocobo stable can be found in South Figaro, Nikeah, and Jidoor. But there are quite a few chocobo stables hidden on the World Map, and they are usually found in forests near towns most of the time.

Chocobos are a main source for transportation in the early parts of the game or when the airship is not available to the player, but they become obsolete once the airship is acquired or available again. Like the previous games, the player does not engage in random encounters when riding on a chocobo, but once the player dismounts it, the chocobo will return back to its pen.

It should be noted that all hidden chocobo stables charges a fee of 100 gil regardless of being in the World of Balance or the World of Ruin.
