Oh, shut up and help me remodel the Chocobo (VII Rebirth transportation) page!
Chocobos are a gameplay element in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. They are they primary means of traversing a region, and are acquired through wrangling in Chocobo Intel, or other means in that region. Chocobos are faster than traveling by foot, and certain breeds have specific means of travel, such as brief flight or mountain climbing, that allow them to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Chocobos can be called upon in the region using the chocowhistle.
Chocobos can also be raced at the Gold Saucer. Each chocobo obtained out in the region can then be raced in the saucer, and each has slightly different stats.
Chocobos can be fitted with gear at chocoboutiques, in each region's chocobo ranch. After the gear is purchased with golden plumes, the chocobo's gear can be customized. The difference is mostly cosmetic, but will slightly alter stats during racing.
Use[]
Wrangling[]
Upon first arrival to a region, the region's Chocobo Intel objective must be complete to unlock its chocobo. This requires a quick wrangling minigame which unlocks the chocobo thereafter for use around the region. The minigame itself is a quick stealth minigame which can be retried for as many times as the player needs.
Mount[]

When a chocobo has been unlocked for the region, it can be mounted at any time. Using the chocowhistle, the party can summon their chocobos from anywhere and then ride them. Chocobos are much faster than traveling by foot, but no difference is made to interacting with the rest of the world. When engaging enemies, the chocobos will simply flee and all leave at once.
Each region's chocobo is different in breed. Certain breeds have additional means of traversal behind speed.
