A highly effective bow from the faraway world of Orience. It belonged to an extraordinary archer who could fulfill even missions that demanded sniping marks from great range. It was apparently available for purchase from Akademeia's Armory after its original wielder participated in a great many missions.

Chiron's Bow is a strong weapon for Trey with 52 Attack stat. It is bought for 35,000 gil from the Akademeia Armory after bringing Trey on missions 200 times (PSP) or landing 200 Killsight strikes with Trey (HD).

Chiron's Bow (FF Type-0) is a Bow that provides 218 ATK, +70% Accuracy, has a damage range of 135-185%, requires both hands to wield, increases physical and magic damage against avians and humans by 75%, and when equipped by Vermilion Class Zero Trey, increases static ATK by 500. It can be obtained as the Super Trust Master from Vermilion Class Zero Trey.

Etymology[]
Chiron is a centaur from Greek mythology who, unlike the other savage centaurs, was famous for his wisdom and knowledge of medicine. Accidentally pierced by a poisoned arrow shot by Heracles, Chiron renounced his immortality in favor of Prometheus, and was placed among the stars as the constellation Centaurus.
