Chaos Wave (ケイオスウェイヴ, Keiosu Weivu?), also known as Chaos Wing or Chaotic Wave, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is one of the trademark attacks of Maduin, which inflicts non-elemental damage to all enemies.

Chaos Wave is an enemy ability used by Experiment No. 116, which inflicts heavy non-elemental damage to Zack and knocks him down to the ground.
Final Fantasy Dimensions II[]
Chaotic Wave is the summon attack of the Maduin signet. It can only be used by Wrieg and costs 3 bars from the Summon Gauge to perform. The attack deals heavy light-elemental damage to all enemies.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT[]
Chaos Wave is the final HP Attack learned by Terra Branford (level 10). It unleashes a purple wave of energy around her, damaging opponents that it hits. Although Terra could never use the move herself in Final Fantasy VI or the original Dissidia games, this ability is a reference to her father, Maduin.

Chaos Wave is Terra's LD Ability. When all relevant passives are equipped, it becomes a multi-hit battery attack against an entire wave and grants Terra seven consecutive turns and six consecutive uncounted uses of her S1, S2, and AA skills in any combination after execution. It has a base use count of 3, upgrading to 4 when mastered.
