Chaos's Revenge (リベンジオブカオス, Ribenji Obu Kaosu?, lit. Revenge of Chaos), also known as Caius's Sword and Soul Devourer (ソウルデバウア, Sōru Debaua?, lit. Soul Devourer), and also known as Soulrender, is a recurring weapon in Final Fantasy series associated with Caius Ballad. Chaos Bahamut's crystal is placed in the sword's rain-guard.[1] It is a cerise crystal in the shape of an eye, or perhaps, the shape of Etro's gate. The weapon was first named in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

Caius is able to use his sword with one hand despite its size. He can use it to shield himself while in his defensive stance.

Lightning can acquire the Chaos's Revenge by defeating Caius in the Temple of the Goddess. It is classified as a greatsword, raises both Strength and Magic by 600 points and has Quick Stagger 75%.

Chaos's Revenge is a rarity 5 knight sword that provides a minimum of 108 Attack and 42 Magic, and a maximum of 171 Attack and 84 Magic. It can be upgraded to rarity 7 where it provides a minimum of 189 Attack and 63 Magic, a maximum of 261 Attack and 108 Magic, and Limit Break +3000. It can only be equipped by Caius.
