Appearances[]
Final Fantasy XIV[]
Celestial Stasis is an ancient astromancy spell part of the Astrologian job questline. Originally denied to exist by the Sharlayans, it halts the heavens completely, thus stopping time for the spell's duration. It is an enemy ability used by Sevestre during the quest The Hands of Fate. The ability inflicts the Temporal Displacement debuff for 5 seconds, preventing any action.
While not the same ability, the animation of the Astral Stasis Limit Break is based on Orran's Celestial Stasis ability from Final Fantasy Tactics.
