Celes is a summonable vision and an optional playable character in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. She serves as a character representative from Final Fantasy VI and currently has two different variants: "Celes" and "Triumphant General Celes".

Once upon a time, the goddess of wisdom descended upon the earth and began bathing herself in a spring. A young man who saw her while passing by was captivated by her beauty, and hid the armor she had previously taken off. The tearful goddess then became the young man's wife, and was forced to spend the rest of her days living under the heavens. The minerva bustier is the only thing remaining that is tied to this legend. It is uncertain whether or not it once truly belonged to a divine deity, but its beauty and hidden magical prowess are indeed true.

Celes's Trust Master reward is the Minerva Bustier clothing which increases DEF+47, SPR+45; grants Fire (+30%), Ice (+30%), Lightning (+30%), Wind (+30%) and can only be worn by female units.

3★ - No. 0206:A woman from another world who had a role to play in the war against the espers. She served as a top general in the Gestahlian Empire, tasked with many important missions, including the invasion of Maranda. As a child, she was implanted with magic by Cid, and raised to be a peerless force in battle. She wields her unnatural magic with ease, and her sword even seals the magic of others, making her one of the empire's greatest weapons, whose record of success in battle speaks for itself.
4★ - No. 0207:A general from another world who had a role to play in the war against the espers. She was implanted with artificial magic by the Gestahlian Empire. While peerless in battle, Celes carries silent doubts about the cruel tactics of her emperor. When she dares to voice these misgivings before him, however, she is branded a traitor and imprisoned. She is only saved from near-certain execution by a chance meeting with Locke.
5★ - No. 0208:A general from another world who had a role to play in the war against the espers. She was implanted with artifical magic by the Gestahlian Empire, and raised to be an unstoppable weapon—her skill with a blade equal to her skill with magic. Unable to tolerate the cruel methods of her emperor, she rebels and begins instead to work alongside the Returners, a rebel group opposing the empire. Her hard military nature means she has difficulty letting others see her emotions, but her new allies gradually help her to accept and embrace her own feelings.

In its world of origin, the sword is said to have been carried by a magitek knight who, despite her young age, rapidly rose through the Gestahlian Empire's ranks to become a general only to eventually become a deserter.

Triumphant General Celes's Trust Master reward is the Noble Magitek Knight passive special ability which increases SPR and MP (40%) and increases physical and magic damage against aquatics (50%).
Triumphant General Celes's Super Trust Master reward is the Lightbringer sword which grants ATK+180, MAG+180, SPR+180 and has the passive special ability Mystical Shining Blade which increases LB damage (50%), increases static ATK, MAG and SPR (250), increases physical evasion (30%) and increases magic evasion (30%).
