The Cathedral Sentry is an enemy in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. They remain neutral unless provoked. It takes two hits to make them hostile; a third attack initiates the battle. They are also fought in a set battle on the Final Day.
Their monster notes can be found in Luxerion Warehouse District and bought from the Warren area. Cathedral Sentries call allies into battle and when staggered, they may used Panic Potshot to attack their comrades or Confused Healing to heal the player. The Thorn of Aggression accessory is useful to prevent being interrupted by multiple enemies.
