I propose adding a few more subcategories to help with sorting this page out....such as having a subcategory for Supportive, Offensive, Key Items, and so on and so forth. For the sake of organization ^^;

Definitely one for Key Items, those are very different from the other kinds.
Well, there is one for Key Items, and I WAS going to clean up the main category of them so that it'd look cleaner, but I can't seem to get rid of the Items tag on them for some reason....it just doesn't let me do it. I don't know why since it lets me do it other things...unless there's something about the Items template that makes it so you can't delete the category or something? o_o
You're half right. The items template automatically categorizes every page it's on in the Items category. It can be deleted, but then every item would have to be categorized automatically (I think, probably).
Hurm.....that makes cleaning this section up harder than I thought it would be...and each of them NEEDS the Items template, so that cannot go at all. Bah...I need to sit back and drink mah tea now .-.
No, you don't need to remove the items template, you just need to remove the code that says it will categorize the pages. But if you do remove that code, then all the pages that were categorized, won't be. Then you just have to go through and categorize them. It's just boring categorizing.
I see, but if it automatically categorizes it, then wouldn't I have been able to still remove it from the bottom there? I was able to do that with the Abilities that I categorized last night (they were automatically categorized by adding the Abilities Template, but I was still able to remove the Abilities category and change it). With the Items, the category doesn't even show up when I go to the Edit Page, so that's what I was wondering about. I already did enough "boring" stuff around here, but I still did them since they needed done. Besides which, it'd make it easier for people to find things if SOMEONE categorizes them, no? :p
I'm looking and the Abilities template doesn't categorize abilities. But whatever, I'll remove the coding if you want to do it.
Huh...odd then. Well, you can go ahead and remove the coding and I'll start adding them to subcategories. I'mma make the subcategories first though so that I can get them started ^^
Huh....even with removing that little code you did, it still doesn't show up on the Edit Page to get rid of it. That's pretty odd o_o
If you'd like, I'll categorize all the pages.
If you want Scathe, since even with clearing my cache, it still doesn't show up for me, so I can't clean up the page at all ^^;
I must ask though, what would I put under "Support Items"? I don't seem to recall what to put under it.
I'd take a look at the Supportive item page, since that says what are support items. Mostly things like Lunar Curtain, Light Curtain, and the like.
Ahh, got it. Time for me to spam the RC for the next two hours. \(^.^)/
LOL have fun with that Scathe. In the meantime, that's one less thing for me to worry about and now to find something else to do....maybe I should do more RPG Maker tutorials here in a bit....after some more wiki work that is ^^
Categories for items per game[]
Is this really something we should do? I vote delete and remove the categories. I think it's useless categorization when the list pages already have them.-- Technobliterator TC 20:43, November 2, 2015 (UTC)
