Capparwire is an enemy from Final Fantasy VII, fought in the forests of Junon Area and in the seventh round of the Battle Square before the player obtains the Tiny Bronco. When fought in the Battle Square, its stats are enhanced with double the normal HP and its Attack and Magic Attack are increased by 25%. When passing through the Junon Area the first time, Capparwires can be tough as they attack in groups and the player may be intentionally spending a lot of time in the forests looking for the Mystery Ninja encounter.

Battle[]
Capparwires can be dangerous, as their Grand Spark attack hits for over 100 damage, and they often attack in groups of five. Capparwire are ideal enemies for quickly leveling up Limit Breaks that require a certain amount of kills.
Capparwires may be a useful spot for players to steal valuable Ethers, which can be sold for 750 gil a piece. Since Capparwires tend to show up in groups of three or five, it is easy to amass plenty of Ethers while earning EXP, AP, and gil from defeating them.
Strategy[]
Powerful attacks that hit multiple targets (such as Matra Magic, Magic Materia linked with All, Choco/Mog or Limit Breaks) should be used to kill them quickly.
