Description
Bullet Batter is a synergy skill in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, used by Cloud Strife with Barret Wallace. It is unlocked in his folio. The skill performs a combo of three moves in tandem against an enemy.
In the ability's animation, Cloud swings his sword three times in a combo while Barret shoots at the sword, having it ricochet to the enemy.
An alternative to the ability, Howling Smash, exists with Red XIII. Cloud has two different types of offensive synergy skills in Power Cleave and Spell Blade.

Bullet Batter is one of two abilities, along with Howling Smash, obtained by unlocking the Ranged Blade skill core on Cloud's folio. It is available at party level 1 and costs 5 SP.
Use[]
Bullet Batter deals moderate ranged physical damage to a target. Because Cloud is primarily melee in range, and his ranged normal attacks and Howling Smash deal magic damage, Bullet Batter offer his only normal means of dealing physical damage at range. This can be effective against flying enemies or other enemies that Cloud has not yet closed distance with.
Bullet Batter is a physical attack, dependent on Cloud's 
Attack Power. If Cloud either is built toward physical damage, or is using it against an enemy that resists magic damage, it is preferable to use it to Cloud's ranged magic attack provided by Operator Mode, or over Howling Smash. However, doing so will interrupt Barret.
