Strategy

The Buffasaur is the first boss in the game to utilize a gimmick, mainly the use of a special barrier that will drastically reduce the damage of all of the player's attacks. In order to neutralize the barrier, the player must strike it with a Fire, Blizzard, or Thunder spell, and then are free to attack its weak-point on its back. After a set amount of time, the Buffasaur will regenerate its special barrier.

The Buffasaur is capable of several powerful attacks, a couple that involves it using its hammer to inflict decent damage as well as Stun. It is also capable of ramming into the player like a bull as well as snort at the player for damage. Standing on top of it is not recommended at all.

Etymology
