Brute Bomber is a character in Final Fantasy XIV. He is the champion of the light-heavyweight division of the Ascension Arcadia Championship.
History[]
Brute Bomber used the soul of a Bomb King and was known for fighting dirty, causing many fighters to be carried into the infirmary. During the fight with the Warrior of Light, Brute Bomber used illegal substances yet still lost. This victory made the Warrior the new champion of the light-heavyweight division, with Yaana being amazed that a newcomer without a regulator was able become champion of the division.
During the coronation ceremony for the new champion, the Brute Bomber interrupted the event by invading the stage. He claimed the Warrior's victory was a hoax, since they fought with seven others. Brute Bomber insisted they settle it one-on-one right there, and activated his feral soul. Brute Bomber charged at the Warrior of Light, but before he could hit them Brute Bomber was knocked out by a bolt of lightning of Eutrope.[1]
Characteristics[]
Appearance[]
Brute Bomber is a tan-skinned Hyune with a short red hair. He is wearing black pants, boots, and a harness.
After fusing with the soul of a Bomb King, he grows in size, and becomes more muscular and his skin turns red. The facial features of a bomb are also shown in his chest: yellow eyes and wide mouth with sharp teeth.
Personality[]
Brute Bomber, in professional wrestling terms, fits the role of a heel; a villainous antagonist who relies on dirty tricks and incurring the ire of the audience. He relies on brute strength and performing illegal moves such as an "asian mist"-like attack and drinking a performance-enhancing compound in the middle of a fight.
He is a hypocrite, calling out the Warrior for fighting with seven others when he himself had cheated multiple times, and when the rule of having the Warrior accompanied by seven was introduced to give a fair advantage in lieu of a regulator. Whether or not this is in the spirit of a heel's sense of kayfabe to rile up the crowd even more is up for debate.
Gameplay[]
Brute Bomber is fought in the AAC Light-heavyweight M3 and its Savage mode as the third boss of the Light-heavyweight tier of the Arcadion raid series in Dawntrail.
