Bright Lights in Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Bright Lights (レーザーコイン, Laser Coin) is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series used exclusively by Rufus Shinra, introduced in Final Fantasy VII remake project. Its portrayal varies, ranging from a normal skill to serving as his Limit ability. It consists of shooting coins as railgun projectiles for large damage.

Final Fantasy VII Remake[]

Bright Lights debuts as an enemy ability used by Rufus during his boss fight. Rufus employs this attack during the second phase where he will introduce it via a cutscene. Bright Lights cannot be blocked, cause knockback, and must be evaded, and deal magic damage. Rufus throws and shoots at two coins, causing red lasers to fire. This can use be used as a counterattack.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth[]

Bright Lights returns as an attack used by Rufus in his boss fight, and functions largely similar to the first game.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis[]

Bright Lights and related abilities return as attacks used by Rufus, often inflicting status ailments as well as damage. They can be interrupted under certain conditions. Otherwise, they behave as in Remake or Rebirth.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius[]

Bright Lights serves as Rufus's Limit Burst ability in his base form. At NV Rarity and maximum level it inflicts a single Physical Damage hit to one enemy with a (50x) skill modifier, ignores DEF by 50%. As an additional effect it auto-casts: Reload the next turn which cures him of any ATK debuff, and unlocks Quadruple Shotgun for 2 turns, allowing Rufus to quadra-cast his abilities.

War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius[]

Bright Lights is a regular ability used by Rufus. It dispels Courage buff from targets before inflicting Lightning Missile-Damage (M), while restoring CT by 200 for each enemy killed (max 2). It has a range of 5 in a straight-line, a height range of 1. It costs 30 AP to cast and can be used up to 4 times per battle.
