The Break Machine is an enemy in Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-.
Make sure Zack is equipped with accessory that will guard against Break Machine's Instant Death attack. Gravity does not work against this foe, so use Costly Punch to inflict significant damage. High-level magic such Flare or Quake will be useful as well. Another useful strategy is to Doublecast Energy. This causes a large amount of damage while avoiding the instant death attack.
