They can be a nuisance to fight, as their special attack Smirk inflicts Stop, and if they are alone they attack with 1000 Needles, doing a guaranteed thousand points of damage to a target, which can be a certain KO if the party is at a lower level. These difficulties are compounded by the fact that Brainpans always appear in twos or threes. Brainpans are weak to 
Fire- and 
Lightning-elemental attacks.
