It is used to make Animal Glue, Osseous Serum, Sleep Arrowheads, Wailing Bone Chip, Bone Hairpin, Bone Arrowheads, Cat Baghnakhs, Bone Arrow, Bone Earring, Cornette, Windurstian Baghnakhs, Fang Necklace, Gelatin, Bone Ring, Bone Mask, Bone Mittens, Bone Leggings, Bone Subligar, Bone Harness, Mettle Leggings, Seer's Crown, Beetle Arrowheads, Fang Arrowheads, Bone Cudgel, Horn Arrowheads, Scorpion Arrowheads, Demon Arrowheads, Marid Tusk Arrowheads, and Goblin Bread. It can be bought for 150 gil from Retto-Marutto in Windurst Woods, for 57 - 349 gil from Shih Tayuun in Windurst Woods, or for 91 gil from the Green Thumb Moogle. It can be stolen/dropped from Skeleton enemies or obtained from Chocobo digging and excavating.

Bone Fragment is a loot that can be dropped from Fideliant, Grave Lord, Lost Soul, Skeleton, Skull Defender, and Skull Warrior, or stolen/poached from Skeleton, Skull Defender, and Skull Warrior. Five are required to create the Cypress Pole in the Bazaar. It sells for 193 gil.

Bone Chips is a low-ranked Small Bone that can be Scavenged from Inscrutable Bones on Zephyr, the Windward Isles or bought at the Sky Saloon in Chapter 4 for 150 gil. It can be used to craft Mythril Blade, Gaia Rod, and Storm Lance.
