One of the items it drops is the rare weapon Yagyu Darkblade, the strongest ninja sword in the game. A challenge to obtain this weapon, as the Bombshell's spawn percentage is 20%, and the weapon drop rate is low. It is a popular tactic among gamers to chain Bombshell to attain 3 Yagyu Dark blades in preparation for the Yiazmat battle. Because Yiazmat is weak to dark and the Yagyu is the strongest dark weapon. This is done by quickly exiting and re-entering 5 times killing bombshell and taking the cart for a ride at the next screen. As to reset the rare game by traveling 2 screens. It may take as long as a 50 chain to reward with 3 of these rare drops. This could take in excess of 4 hours game play. Setting the gambit weak water attack is a good way to not accidentally break the chain.

There is a 20% chance that Bombshell will appear in the Lasche Span, so one may hunt the creature by exiting and reentering the area until it appears.

Battle

The Bombshell is the toughest Bomb-type enemy whose normal attacks deal heavy damage even if the party's level is higher. Equipping the Giant's Helm may help with mitigating the damage.

One of the items the Bombshell drops is the rare weapon Yagyu Darkblade, the strongest (original) or second strongest (Zodiac versions) ninja sword.
