Enemy Intel

Bomb is an enemy in Final Fantasy VII Remake, fought in the Corneo Colosseum as part of the "A Dynamite Body" odd job from Chocobo Sam in Chapter 9, "The Town That Never Sleeps". They can be also fought at the colosseum as part of the "vs. Team Payback" challenge, and in the Shinra Combat Simulator in the "vs. Monsters of Legend" challenge on Hard Mode.

Players can learn the Enemy Skill "Self-Destruct" from bombs.

Stats[]

Battle[]

Cloud fights two bombs the special match if he is doing Chocobo Sam's quests for his dress. Bombs are immune to Fire Fire. Attacking them while they are using fire-based attacks makes them more susceptible to staggering, but striking them while they are under the effects of inflame will cause them to swell faster. Knocking them down or staggering them to reduces the swelling. If they swell up too large, they will burst. Though bombs are fire-based, they are not weak to Ice Ice. They drop the rare Molotov Cocktail upon defeat.

Strategy[]

Fire Materia Fire Materia should only be brought along if paired with Elemental Materia Elemental Materia on armor to absorb fire damage. While the bombs are using fire-based attacks, the player can inflict damage to pressure and stagger them, but it is best to avoid damaging them too heavily while they are under Inflame. Engaging Punisher Mode and unleashing Cloud's abilities defeats them. Triple Slash is powerful if there is enough of a pause in the battle to pull all strikes off uninterrupted.
