Bolt ws a PvP-exclusive ability from Final Fantasy XIV that allowed characters to run faster. Bolt was available to all characters.

Use[]
Bolt provides characters with a short burst of speed. Bolt can be used to quickly reposition or get out of an area of effect (AoE) attack. It can also be used to flee from an encounter, or conversely chase down a fleeing enemy.
Bolt can also be used to counteract most movement speed penalties, and can be used by 
Ninjas while under the effects of 
Kakuremi without cancelling the status.
Bolt is an instant cast off-global cooldown (oGCD) ability. This allows players to weave it between global cooldowns (GCD) after using instant cast weaponskills or spells.
