In the 3D version, Bluff doubles Palom's Intelligence, but wears off after one round. It is received as an Augment from the Elder of Mysidia after defeating Cagnazzo, if the player gave two Augments to Porom or one to Palom.
Bluff is Palom's exclusive ability. It functions the same way as it did in the prequel.
Lower enemy status and raise your own intellect.
Palom's ability is Bluff, and increases his Intelligence. Bluff has a Charge Time of 0.
Bluff increases the power of magic abilities used by the equipped character by 50%. It needs 15 to CP, and is learned by Terra at Level 30, Sephiroth at Level 50, Vivi and Shantotto at Level 15, and Ashe and Lightning at Level 25.
Bluff is a proactive ability that costs 15 CP to equip. It is active for the entire length of the stage. It multiplies effects of magic-type abilities by 1.5 and only applies to the character equipping it. It is learned by Rydia (level 85), Krile (level 85), Celes (level 75), Eiko (level 55), Shantotto (level 50), Yuna #2 (level 55), and Lightning #2 (level 60).

One of Palom's cards depicting his art from The After Years can use Bluff. For the discard cost of a Palom card, Bluff increases the damage dealt to the opponent's Forwards by 2,000 and reduces the costs of the player's Eidolon cards by 1 , both effects lasting for the rest of the turn.
