The Blood Flower (ブラッドフラワ, Buraddofurawa?), also known as the TrapRose or Blood Rose, is a recurring enemy in the series.

Appearances[]
Final Fantasy IV[]
They can be found in the Underworld, and can use the Pollen ability to cause Non-elemental damage and inflict Sap. Blood Flowers can be easily defeated with a couple of Fire spells. They are a minor threat to the party compared to other enemies around the Underworld.
Blood Flowers are fought the same in the 3D versions.
Final Fantasy IV -Interlude-[]
The Blood Flower is an enemy found in the Underworld near the Sealed Cave. It may attack with Pollen, which inflicts Sap to all characters, but otherwise it does not pose a threat and should be defeated with a single physical attack.
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[]
It is not a dangerous enemy and therefore can be defeated with any means possible, preferably with Fire-elemental attacks. It will spam its Pollen skill each turn to inflict minor non-elemental damage and Sap on the party.
