VIICC Blizzara Blade — Blizzara Blade in *Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-*.

Blizzara Blade (ブリザラ剣, Burizara Ken?), also known as Blizzara Sword or simply Blizzara or Ice 2, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is generally a mid-powered Ice-elemental or Water-elemental Spellblade ability, either giving the user the element as long as they do not use another Spellblade ability or outright dealing damage. It generally requires the Blizzara spell in order to use it.

Final Fantasy V[]

Blizzara is a level 3 Spellblade ability that costs 5 MP to cast. When used against an enemy that is weak to Ice-elemental attacks, the power of the user's attack is tripled and pierces the target's defenses.

Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-[]

Blizzara Blade is a rank 3 command materia that costs 16 MP or AP to use, depending on version. It can be stolen from Crescent Unit Autumnus.

Final Fantasy IX[]

Blizzara Sword is a Sword Magic ability for Steiner while Vivi is in the party, knowing Blizzara. It costs 12 MP to cast and increases Steiner's Attack by 10, and deals Ice damage to one enemy.

For Swd Mag, damage dealt is based on Steiner's Attack and Strength stat, as well as on the power of the spell.

The damage formula for Swd Mag spells is as follows:

Base = Attack + 29 - Enemy~Defense

Bonus = Strength + RndMOD ([(Level + Strength) / 8] + 1)

Damage = Base \times Bonus

In Bravely Default, Blizzara is a level 3 Sword Magic that imbues a weapon with a medium-power water effect for ten turns. This will raise attack power by the amount of the magic effect. It costs 15 MP to use. Blizzara can be bought in Florem and Grandship for 800 pg.
