Blackthorne is a character in Final Fantasy XVI. He is a resident of Cid's Hideaway, working as a blacksmith, supplying the settlement with arms and protectives for their Bearer-liberation movement. Blackthorne is withdrawn and sullen, but is friends with a fellow Cursebreaker August.
