Description

The Black Mage is a crown in Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light obtained after defeating the Sand Devil at Quicksand Castle.

Its appearance differs from the traditional Final Fantasy Black Mages, who wear large pointy hats. The Black Mage is a good addition in battle since they reduce the AP cost for using Black Magic by one, and they have a high Intellect stat. Their downside is having low HP.

The Black Mage can also learn a few abilities that gives characters status buffs. In contrast to lacking Flare and Meteor, Magic Might can deals massive non-elemental damage every two turns. The job's special piece of armor, Black Robe, provides a 10% boost to the user's Intellect and Magic stats.
