Black Goblin (ブラックゴブリン, Burakkugoburin?), also known as BlakGoblin, is a recurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series born in Final Fantasy V.

Black Goblin is an enemy fought in the Game Boy Advance and later versions of the game, fought in the optional dungeons included in those versions. It is the weakest enemy in the optional dungeons, and once the party reaches level 60, they will most likely flee.
Final Fantasy V[]
Black Goblin, also known as BlakGoblin, is an enemy fought in the Wind Shrine on the second to fourth floor. It is a weak enemy, but is one of the earliest methods of learning the Blue Magic spell, Goblin Punch.
Final Fantasy Tactics[]
Black Goblins are the second tier of Goblins, having more HP and Strength in addition to being able to use the skill Spin Punch. They however lose the ability to use Tackle and Eye Gouge.
