Final Fantasy[]

It is the most common enemy in the Soul of Chaos dungeons, where it is the only enemy capable of appearing as a random encounter in any of the random environments, though it will not appear on the later floors of Whisperwind Cove. It is the weakest enemy in the optional dungeons, and once the party reaches level 60, they will most likely flee.
Final Fantasy V[]
The Black Goblin, also known as the BlakGoblin, appears as an enemy fought in the Wind Shrine on the second to fourth floor. It is a weak enemy, but is one of the earliest methods of learning the Blue Magic spell, Goblin Punch.

The Black Goblin appears as the second tier goblin unit, having more HP and Strength in addition to being able to use the skill Spin Punch. It however loses the ability to use Tackle and Eye Gouge.
