Black Bat is an enemy from Final Fantasy VII fought in the Shinra Mansion basement and in the seventh round of the Battle Square during the time Tiny Bronco is available. When fought in the Battle Square its stats are enhanced with double the regular HP and its Attack and Magic Attack are increased by 25%.

Black Bat poses little threat, as it only uses physical attacks, but it is hard to hit due to its 12.5% chance of dodging attacks. A spell like Aqualung or Beta is enough to dispatch them, or the player can take advantage of their weakness to curative spells to deal damage to them. This includes White Wind, which can Petrify them. They usually attack in groups.
