Bird Wing is a battle item item in Final Fantasy VII that deals Wind-elemental magic damage to all enemies.

Mechanics[]
Using the Bird Wing does not take the user's stats into account in determining damage. The final damage is calculated as :

The damage is then modified as per the enemy's resistance to Wind-elemental damage; i.e. double if the enemy is weak to Wind, half of they resist, 0 if they nullify Wind, or healing if they absorb Wind.
Battle items bypass target's Reflect status.

Bird Wing is one of the few ways of inflicting Wind-elemental damage to enemies. While it can be moderately useful in the Battle Square if Materia becomes unusable, during "Homecoming of a Miserable Daughter" to still be able to perform magic, and in some challenge runs. It deals low damage, making it less ideal to use than other elemental items, such as Fire Veil or M-Tentacles. It is also cumbersome to farm as the enemies it can be obtained from only appear alone.
