Use[]
Biora can be used after leveling up the the poison materia to level 2. It serves the same niche as Bio, but is more powerful. It can be useful against a target that resists elements, but not magical damage itself, and for poisoning the target to deal passive damage over time. However, many of the party already have abilities that deal non-elemental magical damage without needing to spend MP, like Cloud's Blade Burst or Aerith's normal attacks and various abilities. Bio line of spells are guaranteed to hit, however, making them easy to use.
When paired with Synergy Materia, the synergizing character can safely use the spell against any opponent as Bio spells deal non-elemental damage; the only time this pairing is useless is when the enemy resists magic damage altogether. Synergy materia is especially useful in Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade where the spells cast with it are "free".
