Biora (バイオラ, Baiora?), also known as Bio2, is a stronger form of the spell Bio in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. A third spell, Bioga, is even stronger than this form.

Template:Sideicon Bio 2 is the second spell on the Poison Magic Materia. It takes 5000 AP to learn, costs 36 MP to cast, has a base spell power equal to 1.3125x the base magic damage, and has a 48% chance of inflicting Poison. The enemies Flower Prong and Malboro, as well as the bosses Godo, Jenova∙SYNTHESIS, and Lost Number can use the spell against the party. Lost Number can only use the spell during its Magic form, while Jenova∙SYNTHESIS can only use the spell when both of its tentacles are alive. Flower Prong only uses the spell in its first and third forms.

Description

There are four Bio 2 (original version) or Biora (PSP port) spells in total which are exclusively available to enemy units Cúchulainn and Reaver. Each spell inflicts one particular ailment status, they are Frog, Slow, Silence, and Petrify.

Unlike Bio and Bioga, Biora spells do not deal any damage to the target. They all have the effect radius of two grids like other generic Magick spell does. See also enemy abilities.
