Bioblaster (バイオブラスト, Baio Burasuto?, lit. Bio Blast), or Bio Blaster, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is an ability associated with Edgar Roni Figaro, which inflicts Poison-elemental damage to all enemies as well as inflict the Sap status.

Bioblaster is an ability that Edgar can use after obtaining the item, either by buying it at Figaro Castle or South Figaro, stealing it from Tunnel Armor or Chaser, or winning it from Proto Armor. It deals unblockable Poison-elemental damage to all enemies with a spell power of 20, and ignores split damage.

Bioblaster is a Machinist weaponskill available at level 72. It is a cone attack with a potency of 60, and afflicts all affected targets with a 60 potency damage over time effect for 15 seconds. It shares a 20 second recast timer with Drill.

Dark damage and poison all enemies
Description
Bio Blaster is active ability which, by spending 12 MP, allows the caster inflict dark magic damage (1.3x) and poison (with a 50% chance) to all enemies. Edgar learns the skill at level 15 (3★), Biggs at level 28 (3★), and Magitek Armor Terra at level 29 (4★).
Its recipe is inside the Grandshelt Vault and can be obtained by handing over Earth Key #7 (which is located in Grandport.) Bio Blaster can then be crafted by using the following materials: Dark Cryst x8, Raptor Feather x1, Green Fluid x1, Alcryst x1. It costs 1000 gil and takes 1 hour to craft.
