Bioblaster (バイオブラスト, Baio Burasuto?, lit. Bio Blast), or Bio Blaster, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is an ability associated with Edgar Roni Figaro, which inflicts Poison-elemental damage to all enemies as well as inflict the Sap status.

Bioblaster is an ability that Edgar can use after obtaining the item, either by buying it at Figaro Castle or South Figaro, Locke stealing it from Tunnel Armor or Chaser, or winning it from Proto Armor. It deals unblockable 
Poison-elemental damage to all enemies with a spell power of 20, and ignores split damage.

Bioblaster is a Machinist weaponskill available at level 72. It is a cone attack with a potency of 60, and afflicts all affected targets with a 60 potency damage over time effect for 15 seconds. It shares a 20 second recast timer with Drill.

Description
Bioblaster (FFVI) is an ability learned by King Edgar of Figaro at level 67 (5★). It costs 60 MP and reduces DEF/SPR by 60% for 3 turns and has a 30% chance of inflicting Poison, Paralyze, and Disease to all enemies.
Bioblaster is an ability learned by Prompto at level 45 (5★). It costs 45 MP and deals 1 hit of physical damage with a modifier of 20x, has a 100% chance of inflicting Poison, and reduces Dark resistance by 120% for 3 turns to all enemies.
