Bio III is a Dark Black Magic spell from Final Fantasy XI. It is the third and final tier of Bio spells for players.
Obtained[]
Bio III can be learned by Red Mages at level 75. Its scroll can be bought from Susu in Lower Jeuno. In addition, it can also be obtained from other players via the Auction House or Bazaars.
Use[]
Bio III deals dark damage that weakens an enemy's attacks and gradually reduces its HP. It initially lasts for 30 seconds. However, additional merits can extend its duration, and its damage rate is higher, and the attack stat reduction is greater. It takes 1.5 seconds to cast and can be recast every 15 seconds. The spells duration and potency can be increased by Merit Points and Job Points.
Bio III overwrites all other Dia and Bio spells that players can cast.

When originally introduced to the game, Bio III could only be learned by Red Mages level 75 and higher by spending 3 Merit Points to purchase it from the merit menu. Following the June 2019 patch update, Bio III was changed to become a purchasable spell in Lower Jueno.
