History[edit | edit source]
In "Home Sweet Home", Betty asked Cloud and Tifa to help find her missing cat friends. She described their appearances and usual whereabouts, assuring them the cats were friendly, commencing "Lost Friends". She was initially sad, believing the cats ran away, but was overjoyed they returned after being chased by a "scary man".
During Shinra's attack on the Sector 7 pillar in "Fight for Survival", Aerith found the wayward Betty and reunited her with her father. In "A Broken World", after the plate fell, Betty and her father refuged in Sector 6 playground with the other survivors. She hoped her friends were okay and her father reassured her.
In "In Search of Hope", Betty traveled to Wall Market and thought of a way to cheer up the residents of the slums. Upon encountering Cloud's party, Betty asked a relieved Tifa if Marlene was okay to which she affirmed. She then asked the party to find music discs for the jukebox, believing new music would make people happy. The party agreed to help, though Barret kindly asked her not to crank the volume too loud, commencing "The Power of Music". When they returned, Betty thanked them for their help and was pleased to see everyone smiling again.
